Making a selfportrait is always kind of a difficult thing. I also believe it would turn out different every day. Still one day I faced the challenge. It started by taking pictures of myself and my surroundings, collecting sentences that occupied me at that time...

Then I didn't know what to choose and also I thought, there are so many different "me". So the selfportrait turned into kind of a look-book. I screenprinted the designs on different textiles and sewed the pages together and stiched the symbols for the final glance.

If I look at it today, I guess I really was a bit of a romantic and dreamy person several years ago. But I still like it and somehow this little girl inside of me turns up every now or then.

AND: green is still my favourite colour!
